Community Relations

The Spirol International Charitable Foundation, Inc is fully responsible for all major charitable contributions made on behalf of the SPIROL companies and employees.

Through this foundation SPIROL continues its history of giving to and being committed to the charitable needs of the surrounding communities. Since its inception in January 2004, the Foundation has generously contributed to the Annual Appeal and Scholarship Programs at Quinnebaug Valley Community College in Connecticut, made commitments to scholarships awarded by the SPIROL Scholarship Committees, and supported local charities in Connecticut, Ohio, California, and Vermont.

Hans H. Koehl, Chairman, Spirol International Holding Corporation, is Chairman and Trustee of the Foundation, and James C. Shaw, Chairman, Spirol North America, and Jeffrey F. Koehl, President, Spirol North America, serve as trustees. The trustees focus on the support of primary and university level education efforts, including continuation of the SPIROL Scholarship program, as well as community improvement projects.
