SPIROL Brazil Announces ISO 9001:2008 Certification

Indaiatuba, São Paulo, Brazil — SPIROL Brazil is very pleased to announce that it has successfully been certified ISO9001.

This accomplishment was a main objective in the 2015 SPIROL Brazil Operating Plan.  Achieving this milestone establishes SPIROL Brazil as a leading company in Brazil and increases the potential of customers placing business with us.  ISO9001 is appropriate for a distribution facility while SPIROL Brazil relies on leading global certifications such as TS16949, AS9001 and ISO14000 from our sister manufacturing facilities.  Now, SPIROL Brazil can assure our customers that there is a certified SPIROL entity managing the manufacturing and delivery of their product every step along the way.

Our auditor commented during the audit that "SPIROL has a very complete and solid Quality Management System structure which seamlessly connects all business units. Bringing that global structure to SPIROL Brazil clearly places you in a good position with other leading companies."  During the audit, SPIROL Brazil received zero non-conformances and the auditor had only three minor observations for improvement.

SPIROL was audited by Swiss certification company SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance) and accredited by three entities: INMETRO (Brazilian), UKAS (English) and ANAB (American) under the scope "Distribution of precision engineered fasteners, tubular products, shims, stampings, and machined components."
